MENDON POLICE EXPLORER POST 22

The Mendon Police Department established the Exploring Law Enforcement Post 22 in October of 1998. The Post is part of Learning for Life career education for young men and women 14 through 20 years of age. The Post is a catalyst. It brings together adults and young people, incredible things have happened and can happen in this coming together. The experience that can emerge from this group of people are up to the people themselves. The more the individuals in the group ask of themselves and of one another, the more possibilties they have for experience that will carry out with them for the rest of their lives. Learning for Life provides programs that are designed to support schools and other youth serving organizations in their effort toward preparing youth to successfully handle the complexities of today's society and to enhance self confidence, motivation, and self worth. Mendon Police Explorers are expected to maintain a high academic standing while attending school.
